Christopher Harris, LCSW, is a psychotherapist specializing in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) with individual adults (18+). He maintains a private practice in Metairie, LA. As a graduate of Tulane University, Christopher is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, self-esteem / self-worth issues, trauma, codependency, and addiction issues, among others. Christopher is a highly interactive therapist, focused on real solutions and getting his clients back on their feet as quickly as reasonably possible. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing. Serving clients in New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Laplace, Harahan, River Ridge, Marrero, Algiers, Harvey, Gretna, Westwego, Waggaman, Mandeville, Covington, Lacombe, Slidell, and further reaches of the State of Louisiana, Christopher offers daytime and evening appointments, Monday through Friday, available for both in-person and remote / virtual sessions (video and telephone), and is currently accepting new clients . Christopher is also licensed in the States of Florida, Tennessee, and Texas, and is available for telehealth sessions with residents of those states.
